Microplastic Research and Development, Collection Methods, and Data Management and Sharing were the subject of a workshop held April 4 – 5, 2019 at the Southern California Coastal Water Research Project (SCCWRP) in Costa Mesa, California. The workshop provided an opportunity for participants to network with leading microplastics researchers and policy makers, to catch up on the state of policy, and the science of microplastics.
Animal Digestible Food Packaging Initiative
Our reason-for-being/goal/purpose/objective/intent is to convince/inspire/persuade/encourage the food processing industry to establish and fund a public private partnership for the discovery of new food packaging materials that would be digestible by animals (farm animals as well as ubiquitous microbes).
