On September 21, 2022, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) released a Working Paper, titled “Quantifying Environmentally Relevant and Circular Plastic Innovation: Historical Trends, Current Landscape and the Role of Policy” https://www.oecd-ilibrary.org/environment/oecd-environment-working-papers_19970900 which advises that “… Innovation is key to reducing the environmental impacts of plastics. However, literature is generally lacking in the field of environmentally relevant plastics innovation. Animal Digestible Food Packaging Initiative
Our reason-for-being/goal/purpose/objective/intent is to convince/inspire/persuade/encourage the food processing industry to establish and fund a public private partnership for the discovery of new food packaging materials that would be digestible by animals (farm animals as well as ubiquitous microbes).
