Sustainability Claims – Coca-Cola Sued

On June 8, 2021, Earth Island Institute filed a complaint in District of Columbia Superior Court under DC’s Consumer Protection Procedures Act https://www.earthisland.org/journal/index.php/articles/entry/coca-cola-sued-for-false-advertising-over-sustainability-claims which alleges that the company’s “… sustainability-focused statements amounts to greenwashing, or in legal terms, false and deceptive advertising.
