According to April 30, 2020 Waste360 story American Beverage Association members Coca-Cola, Keurig Dr Pepper and PepsiCo have allocated $100 million over ten years across multiple cities in a partnership with The Recycling Partnership, Closed Loop Partners and the World Wildlife Fund to “… support a new ABA initiative to return postconsumer plastic bottles to the supply chain to make new bottles … the partners are starting in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to increase collection, recycling and processing of plastic bottles … In Fort Worth … citizens will be educated on how to recycle and reduce contamination.
