“The Plastic Problem” is the title of a film to be shown online at 3 pm Eastern on Sunday, March 22, 2020 http://www.cpnas.org/events/plastic.html - The film is a documentary prepared by the PBS News Hour which is sponsored by the Cultural Programs Unit of the National Academy of Sciences - An hour before the film, at 2 pm, several panelists will discuss film highlights – In announcing the film, the PBS News Hour notes that “… By 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in the oceans.
